The PGPLOT library developed by Tim Pearson of
Caltech
is used in XAS in a
limited sense, only by a few demo programs, being gradually phased out
(the new graphic facilities are based on the graphserv library.
Support to PGPLOT within the SAX project for other purposes in the past
has given rise to an "official" SAX-PGPLOT version for Ultrix and VMS,
mantained by D.Dal Fiume and M.Trifoglio at ITESRE.
