Fig. 4.1.1-I : example of an exposure taken on the ground (MPE Panter facility) without optics (flat field illumination). This particular exposure is in Al light (1.5 keV). Exposures like this have been analysed to determine the optics effective area and to study the obscuration by the strongback and the detector PSF.
